Postmortem

Starting February 4th there was some extensive Nfield database maintenance for the servers in the APac region. We estimated that there would be no impact during business hours, with only a few quick restart of hosted services outside business hours. However an error was introduced for one of our database servers in Singapore that we didn’t catch with regular testing.
Since the error was pretty specific and our customers in the region provided very good feedback on the exact issue they experienced, we were able to quickly identify the problem and fix it, rather than roll back any changes.

Update

We have identified and fixed the issue. All systems should be available again, but we will continue to monitor the situation.
